3 day Ultimate Rwanda Gorilla Trekking Safari
Day1: Arrival at Kigali Airport & Scenic transfer to volcanoes National Park-On your arrival day, you will pick your 4×4 safari vehicle at Kigali international Airport or pick-up at your hotel, our guide will take you through briefing about your 4x4 rental car in Kigali, then set of for your Self-drive safari to volcanoes national park , for those opting for a car rental with a driver in Rwanda, your professional driver guide from 4wd car rental Rwanda will meet you at arrivals.
You can opt to enjoy a brief city tour in Kigali where you will visit different attractions including the moving Kigali Genocide memorial, the Kigali Convention center or kimironko market for snack shopping, later embark on the scenic 2 hour drive towards the North of Rwanda-musanze town.

Day2: On day 2 preparations for ounce in a life time gorilla encounter: you will have an early breakfast prepared by the lodge at 6.30am, after transfer to the park headquarters in Kinigi for a briefing , you will later be assigned to a habituated gorilla family, the gorilla trekking adventure will start depending on the location of your assigned group, the experience takes about 2 to 6 hours, these are magical hours spending just meters away with the gentle giants, watching the silverback lead his family while the younger ones play around with the bamboo thickets.
After these magical hours ,you will return to the lodge for lunch , later have an afternoon visit to the Iby’iwacu cultural village to experience traditional Rwandan dance or a visit to Ellen DeGenerous campus of Dian fossey Gorilla fund.
Day3: Enjoy a relaxed morning in the North of Rwanda, if time allows you a shot drive and visit to the twin Lakes Burera and ruhondo can be breathtaking for good photography before you depart musanze town to Kigali Airport
