Detailed Highlight Of 4 Days Uganda Wildlife & Gorilla Trekking
Day1: Transfer from Kampala to Bwindi National Park, on this day our driver will be at your hotel either in entebbe or Kampala for an early morning pick up just after your breakfast (Vise verse if your on a self drive road trip your 4×4 car rental will be delivered early in the morning), your journey to the south western parts of Uganda will begin, with different attractions along the way, you will have different stop overs on different sites example the drum makers at mpambire and a stop over at the equator monument in kayabwe, you will later proceed to mbarara via masaka town for lunch later a drive via this green hilly area will relax and prepare you for a late check in at your accommodation in the misty Bwindi forests, this complete journey approximately takes 9/10 hours .
Day2: Tracking Mountain Gorillas In Bwindi Impenetrable
Wake up early in the morning for a warm breakfast ,energize and drive to the ranger post, advisable to be there by 8am for ticket inspection , entertainment and briefing , you will later be assigned to a gorilla family(group) ,and later a ranger , you gorilla trekking experience will start right away, taking about about 4-5hours, with 1hour spending it with these marvel giants of the misty forests, you will later walk back and drive to Lake Bunyonyi Uganda’s top relaxation and honeymoon getaway destination, you can choose a lazy afternoon here or swim in this bilharzia free lake, visit the Batwa community or canoe around this lake with the most beautiful islands in Uganda, this will be a perfect retreat after gorilla trekking.
Day3: Drive to Lake Mburo National Park
On this day you will depart from this beautiful lake , to Lake Mburo National park , have a lunch stop over in Mbarara town , the town for long horned cattle, later proceed for a late afternoon check in in this Uganda’s smallest savannah park, you can choose to go for a cycling safari, ride along with the giraffes, zebras, buffalos, among other animals or chose to do a nature walk with these magnificent animals in there natural wildness, you will later check in at your accommodation for an overnight.
Day4: Transfer back to Kampala or Entebbe
On the 4th day you will have an early morning breakfast, later go back in the park for an exist brief game drive, later drive back to Kampala or entebbe this marks the end of this trip.
